The Smart Plug……..really Smart
Placing long distance and international calls from your cell phone just got easier.
If you use your cell phone everyday which I’d say is about 95 percent of cell phone owners do, then The Smart Plug from tel3advantage is a must for you. The Smart Plug is a software application introduced by Tel3Advantage to make your life easier. And that is the main reason they call it The Smart Plug. This application is downloaded from the Tel3Advantage website directly into your smart phone in the simplest way possible. Once downloaded, you will have to install this into your cell phone. Oh! and by the way make sure you check your cell phone compatibility as some of them may not be compatible. Please click here for compatibility list This will then enable you to use your cell phone in placing calls using the Tel3Advantage prepaid long distance service.
Here’s the Step by Step Process:
1. Compatibility. Make sure that the cell phone you are using is compatible (please refer to the link above for compatibility issues)
2. Download the software application. Once you have selected the brand and phone and compatibility you will be using, just enter your cell phone number and your email. Make sure also that your cell phone number is added as an instant access number as this is very important to make your calling habit easier.
3. Install the software. Right after the software is downloaded it is now ready to be installed. Your phone system will let you know that you may now begin to install the software and will notify you when installation is completed accordingly.
4. Make that first call. After the above process is all completed your phone should be ready to make calls. All you have to do is either dial the long distance number directly on your cell phone or select a number from your phone’s directory just like you would for any call. As your cell phone functions, the SmartPlug software constantly operates in the background. Once it recognizes that an international number is being dialed, it redirects the call to the TEL3Advantage and the result is a significantly cheaper international calls, without cumbersome calling codes, access numbers and pin codes.
I have been using the Smart Plug for almost 6 months now and I am very please with the functionality and ease of use that I finally able to convinced my wife to start using it.
